This month we’re featuring Scott Gaines, FHIMSS, SVP & General Manager, Provider Solutions, CoverMyMeds. Scott is a seasoned health IT professional with experience developing and leading new markets for innovative, high-growth companies. Scott is currently SVP & General Manager of CoverMyMeds’ provider business, where he is responsible for strategy, innovation and performance of solutions that streamline the medication prescribing process for providers.

Prior to joining CoverMyMeds, Scott spent nine years with Hyland in implementation, consulting and business development roles. He most recently helped lead the expansion of Hyland’s healthcare practice into international markets. In this role, Scott advised world-renowned healthcare organizations in Europe, the Middle East, Australia and Asia.

Scott is active in the health IT industry and currently serves as a member of the HIMSS Innovation Committee, a board advisor to Central & Southern Ohio chapter of HIMSS, and an advisor to the Technology Development Fund at Nationwide Children’s Hospital.
