Keri Betz Wins $10,000 at the Small Business Impact Program Showcase
Keri Betz, owner of Wiggles and Wash, a mobile dog and cat grooming service, won the top prize of $10K at the Stark County Small Business Impact Program Showcase.
On Tuesday night, Keri, along with four other local entrepreneurs, presented their businesses to a live audience and panel of judges in a friendly pitch competition that capped off their 12-week business education intensive. While Keri was named the first-place winner, the four other Impact Program graduates didn’t walk away empty-handed – they each received $2,500 to grow their businesses:
- DeDe Bailey owner of The Puzzle Table
- Perry Owens owner of Quisqueya Spirits
- Darrell Sullins Jr. owner of Skyhigh Fitness
- Leisyl Boone Buxton owner of Leisyl B. Design
