These grants are non-dilutive funding programs created to foster the inclusion of qualified businesses in the nation’s research arena, stimulate the development of high-tech innovations, and commercialize research initiatives. The STTR program specifically focuses on developing a collaborative partnership between small businesses and nonprofit research institutions.

On April 12th, The University of Toledo Business Incubator will be hosting an SBIR/STTR program overview provided by Daniel Gisser and Anthony Gillespie of the Ohio Aerospace Institute (OAI). This session explains how these programs help small companies develop unproven innovations with great commercialization potential and broad impact.
