CLEVELAND, Ohio — Case Western Reserve University students, or anyone who drops by the school with a dream of making a product into a business, gets the benefit of Bob Sopko’s counsel. So do entrepreneurs launching their ventures through the Youngstown Business Incubator.

Now you can see why he’s sought out, because Sopko will be among those sharing wisdom at Startup Scaleup, a day-long event June 28 sponsored by JumpStart.

JumpStart is Northeast Ohio’s regional tech nonprofit that helps fledgling entrepreneurs solidify ideas, fine-tune technology, develop business plans and financing, and grow. Startup Scaleup, in its second year, aims to bring together an assortment of dreamers, inventors, business mentors and even potential financiers in multiple venues and events for a single day in Cleveland’s Gordon Square Arts District.
