OnShift Inc. buys talent acquisition software provider Avesta Systems
OnShift Inc. of Cleveland, which produces hiring, scheduling and employee engagement software used in the health care industry, has bought a Hudson company, Avesta Systems Inc., that provides talent acquisition software and services that streamline recruiting and hiring processes.
The companies did not reveal financial terms of the transaction, which was announced in a news release on Monday, Feb. 10.
An OnShift spokesperson wrote in an email that Avesta “has less than 50 employees” and that all of them are joining OnShift. Revenue for both companies was not disclosed. OnShift has about 220 employees. The company plans to move in late summer to Post Office Plaza, at 1500 W. Third St. in downtown Cleveland, from its current home in four floors of the Keith Building, at 1621 Euclid Ave.
OnShift said in the release that Avesta’s software, now called OnShift Employ, “manages the entire talent acquisition process from end to end, including candidate sourcing, recruitment, screening, hiring and onboarding.” With OnShift Employ, the companies said, health care providers “gain a competitive edge by quickly finding qualified candidates, speeding time to hire and creating memorable candidate experiences, while simultaneously complying with hiring laws.”
