As JumpStart’s Advancement, Communications Manager, Laura integrates the Advancement and Marketing teams to increase impact and further fundraising goals.

Prior to joining JumpStart, Laura spent more than 12 years working at PR firms and marketing agencies in Northeast Ohio. She has extensive experience leading marketing initiatives for purpose-driven brands and developing successful cause campaigns for nonprofits and government agencies.

Laura graduated with a degree in English—Creative Writing from Ohio University in 2010. Laura’s passions lie in voting advocacy and environmental conservation. As a professional writer, her work has appeared in various publications including Ohio Magazine, EcoWatch, Organic Spa Magazine, YES! Magazine, The Establishment and others.
