Current Community Initiatives

Community collaboration centers provide support for historically disconnected neighborhoods by reducing barriers to access, bridging digital divides and fostering innovation.

Together with our partners, we leverage the power of place-based technology, public events, education programs and networking opportunities to ensure that startups and small businesses, as well as residents, have the resources and connections they need to learn and grow.

At JumpStart, we are committed to meeting entrepreneurs – and potential entrepreneurs – wherever they are.

MidTown Collaboration Center

JumpStart’s headquarters are located in the Midtown Collaboration Center, a multi-use space designed to create a vibrant environment for economic growth.

As a longtime partner of the Cleveland Foundation, the move strengthens our mission and our connection to the neighborhood, providing proximity that will maximize local impact.

Verizon Community Forward Learning Centers

The Verizon Community Forward Learning Centers offer free technology-based tools and resources for Cleveland residents.

The Learning Centers are located within existing community facilities in the Union-Miles and Clark-Fulton neighborhoods and are made possible with funding provided by Verizon, in partnership with JumpStart.

CentroVilla25

Together with the Northeast Ohio Hispanic Center for Economic Development, JumpStart is increasing our bi-lingual support services through place-based business assistance programs.

Our multi-year commitment to the CentroVilla25 initiative will not only contribute to project construction programmatic support through the business innovation center, located within the building.

Goldman Sachs One Million Black Women

JumpStart’s track record of providing diverse entrepreneurs with inclusive opportunities makes us a strategic partner for national brands that are implementing initiatives like Goldman Sachs’s One Million Black Women: Black in Business.

With our operational support, the One Million Black Women program offers historically marginalized entrepreneurs a comprehensive toolkit to transform their business potential into sustainable growth.

FutureLAND

JumpStart is a Founding Partner of FutureLAND, an annual conference that explores ways in which technology shapes the entrepreneurial ecosystem and the creative economy in Northeast Ohio.

Together with the City of Cleveland and the Urban Black Fund, we help support FutureLAND’s mission of transforming the startup community to be more inclusive and supportive of diverse founders and change-makers.
