Eason brings more than 30 years in philanthropy, banking and relationship management to her new role. She joins JumpStart from the Cleveland Foundation, where she led philanthropy initiatives, gift planning and professional advisor relations. Earlier in her career, she spent nearly two decades with National City Corporation in nonprofit business services, commercial and private banking, and helped launch and grow a digital banking platform as an executive with For Members Only Federal Credit Union®. She also carries a wealth of nonprofit board service spanning education, healthcare and community development including Say Yes Cleveland Scholarship, Recovery Resources and Cleveland Hearing and Speech Center. As Chief Revenue Officer, she’ll draw on that experience to lead the public, private and philanthropic support that keeps JumpStart’s programs low- and no-cost for entrepreneurs growing businesses in Ohio.ued commitment to that work.

Brown joined JumpStart in 2023 as an Entrepreneur-in-Residence and has led the entrepreneurial support organization’s efforts in Stark County, building relationships across the local economic development community and launching collaborative programming. Before coming to JumpStart, he co-founded Rust Belt Riders and Tilth Soil, worker-owned enterprises focused on food waste upcycling. Rust Belt Riders was also a JumpStart small business client, giving Brown a full-circle perspective as he helps other Ohio entrepreneurs grow their companies. In his new role, he oversees JumpStart’s full portfolio of services, from the Trailblazer Accelerator to ScaleReady and CapitalReady, ensuring founders and small business owners get support that actually moves the needle.
