Feowyn MacKinnon is the Senior Director of Strategic Business Initiatives at JumpStart Inc., where she leads high-impact, cross-functional projects that advance entrepreneurship, workforce development, and equitable economic growth. Her work includes shaping JumpStart’s AI strategy, building technology tools for small businesses, maintaining key strategic partnerships, and leading workforce and talent development initiatives across the organization.
Before taking on this role, Feowyn directed the curriculum and education strategy for JumpStart’s Learning Centers and served as Principal of MC2STEM High School, a nationally recognized, project-based STEM school in the Cleveland Metropolitan School District. She is known for her leadership in designing innovative education models that prepare learners for success in business, entrepreneurship, and the future of work.
Feowyn holds degrees from Cleveland State University and Fordham University. She serves on the board of Breadwinners Academy, teaches at Cleveland State University, and advises a range of ed tech founders. She also co-owns City Syndicate Barber Company with her husband and continues to support regional innovation through her involvement with the NEOSTEM Ecosystem. Deeply committed to community impact, Feowyn actively participates in local workgroups and coalitions focused on collaborative problem-solving in education, workforce development, and economic equity.
