Lorne is responsible for building and managing direct capacity and partnerships to deliver outcomes to funders supporting JumpStart’s efforts, while generating the greatest inclusive economic impact. Many of these unique relationships support JumpStart’s team and operations and provide critical resources to support activities and programs of more than two dozen service provider partners across Northern Ohio.

Lorne spent ten years with the Cleveland Browns, where he served in various capacities including most recently as the Club’s Legal Counsel. Prior to Lorne’s tenure as Legal Counsel, he also served as the Browns’ Director of Business Development, where he acted as the assistant to the club president, focusing on business activities and strategic initiatives. While with the Browns organization, Lorne was heavily involved in evaluating new business opportunities, including licensing deals and new ventures. Lorne was also responsible for promoting, negotiating, coordinating and managing all non-Browns on-field events (concerts, college football games, US Soccer events, etc.).

More recently, Lorne served as Chief Administrative Officer with Baunfire Athletics, a startup company that developed, licenses and sells patented beltless flag football jerseys. At Baunfire, Lorne was responsible for strategic planning, business development and strategic alliances among other things. He was also an Adjunct Professor at Cleveland-Marshall College of Law. Lorne received a JD/MBA from Case Western Reserve University and a BS in Business Administration from Miami University.
