Canton Importing Co. was awarded the $10,000 grand prize at JumpStart’s Stark County Small Business Impact Program Showcase, held following the completion of the program’s 12-week business growth curriculum.
The showcase featured five Stark County small businesses presenting live pitches to a panel of judges after spending three months working through the Small Business Impact Program, which helps entrepreneurs strengthen operations, strategy, financial readiness, and long-term growth planning.
The showcase celebrated the progress and momentum of local entrepreneurs whose businesses contribute to the economic vitality of Stark County and the surrounding region. In addition to the grand prize winner, all participating businesses received $2,500 in support funding.
JumpStart’s Stark County Small Business Impact Program provides small business owners with hands-on education, expert advising, and access to resources designed to help businesses grow sustainably and prepare for long-term success.
