NaSheka leads JumpStart’s efforts in Stark County, delivering advisory services and access-to-capital connections to high-potential, diverse-led small businesses — including serving as lead instructor for the Stark County Impact Program — while building the community relationships that drive client engagement across the county.

Prior to joining JumpStart, NaSheka served as Director of Small Business Growth & Entrepreneurial Development, and previously as Workforce Development Manager, at the Stark Economic Development Board (Strengthening Stark). In these roles, she designed the Step Into Credit capital access program and built the Pathway to Bankability workshop series connecting entrepreneurs with credit readiness support and lender relationships. She also led efforts to convene the county’s Micro-Business Committee and strengthened cross-organization partnerships.

With more than 12 years of experience across business development, workforce development, social services, and community development — along with her own experience starting a local small business — NaSheka brings both professional expertise and lived entrepreneurial experience to her work.

NaSheka holds a Bachelor of Arts in Liberal Studies with a concentration in Psychology from the University of South Carolina.
