Lauren manages the intake process for both internal and external requests and developed – alongside her team – an integrated system to keep staff informed about building usage. Lauren contributes to the continued success of MCC as a premier location for meetings, events, and collaborations and as the primary liaison for private venue rentals and space requests, she oversees all aspects of event coordination, from planning through to post-event analysis, ensuring that all requirements are met for a successful event, with a focus on efficiency and guest satisfaction.

Prior to joining JumpStart Lauren worked in the Special Events industry for 6 years. She is also the resident Lighting Designer for The Movement Project of Cleveland, OH where she has served as their lighting designer and stage manager for over 10 years. Lauren is not a stranger to entrepreneurship. She is a licensed Braider and co-owner of the brand Big God Energy, LLC. She believes entrepreneurship is an incredible journey of innovation and resilience, where every challenge becomes an opportunity to grow and create meaningful impact. Lauren is passionate about turning ideas into reality, driving change, and building solutions that inspire and empower others.

Lauren holds a Bachelor of Arts from Ohio University where she studied Dance, Lighting Design and Stage Management. She also holds a special place in her heart for Kinesiology and Somatic Studies and continues to pursue research and development of these art forms.
